alpacas!

The alpacas came today!

The older pregnant one is called Gemma, and the younger boy one is called Franklin. My grandma said that they were the names that they were registered under for the "Australasian Alpaca Association", but when the female gives birth we will be allowed to name the baby whatever we want.

They are smaller than I imagined, and look like fluffy deers. When they first saw us, they ran towards us to say hello. They then seemed to remember that they were meant to be cool, so they acted all blasé and didn't really let us pat them and hug them. I think that they liked us though. We walked to a different part of the garden to see if they would follow us, and they held back for a bit before running towards us again.
