When I was sitting down to dinner with my family the other day, I mentioned that I wanted to buy a puppet, so my mum told me about the fun puppet shop that she visited with a family friend. She said that she'd take me to the shop the next day and would buy me a puppet for my birthday.


I chose a pig puppet because I thought that it looked the nicest and suited my room. My mum reminded me that it was the year of the Golden Pig and that I was also born in the year of the pig, so my choice of birthday present was extra auspicious.
